Objectivity & Partnership

Crossmark Management Group brings insight from the outside to help you avoid emotionally driven decisions in important money matters. We remain objective, available to consult with you at key moments of decision-making, doing the research necessary to ensure you have all the information, and managing and disclosing any of our own potential conflicts of interest.

The team at Crossmark works in concert with you, not just for you. We take the time to clearly understand your background, philosophy, needs and objectives, and then work collaboratively with you on your behalf, while also offering transparency around our own costs and compensation.

Consulting services

We provide technical support, training, or services to your staff by phone or in person when the need arises with every business function—accounting, banking, budgeting, financial reporting, purchasing, payroll, payroll deductions, group medical insurance, grant management, financial policy development, etc.

financial policy development

We provide services to help public, private, and charter school systems develop financial polices and accounting procedure manuals that comply with federal, state, and local board policies.  Financial policies are needed to help improve the financial management of the school system and provide a basis for coping with financial emergencies.

long-term financial planning

We work with you to (1) help safeguard on-going financial sustainability beyond a single fiscal year or budget cycle, (2) achieve the Charter’s organizational mission, and (3) systematically link the annual budget to a multi-year master financial plan.  Financial sustainability is defined where planned educational services can continue without interruption, without unplanned reduction in revenues, and without disruptive cuts to services.
